This past weekend, Warner Bros. presented their upcoming space thriller, Gravity, to a little over 6000 lucky San Diego Comic Con. Director Alfonso Cuarón and Sandra Bullock were part of panel, moderated by Nerdist’s Chris Hardwick.
They premiered an incredible new trailer for Gravity at the panel that you can watch below. Unlike most trailers, it’s one single take (Cuarón is famous for his long takes) that is completely disarming and effective. There’s no doubt that you’ll be wanting to see this movie after seeing this trailer.
UPDATE 1: Warner Bros. dropped another new trailer! It’s just as unsettling and good.
UPDATE 2: Ha! Here’s ANOTHER trailer! Enjoy:

We also have Gravity’s complete SDCC panel. See what Cuaron and Bullock say about the movie in this video:
In the film, hitting 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on October 4, Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
Gravity lands in theaters October 4th. It will premiere at 2013 Toronto International Film Festival in September.
