Elsa and Anna are back in the teaser for Frozen 2, and it looks like things are getting pretty bleak for Arendelle. Things begin on a dark beach, where Elsa discovers the limits of her powers as she attempts to do some ice surfing in some very turbulent waters. Meanwhile, her sister Anna looks more like a warrior princess than the hopeful innocent we saw last time, with a fierce new outfit and hairstyle, even grabbing grabbing Kristoff’s sword to attack an unseen threat in the trailer’s final moments.
According to IMDB, the sequel will see the foursome Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf undertaking a journey to “discover the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom.” Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell are are returning as the sisters, along with Josh Gad as Olaf and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who directed the first Frozen, are also returning to direct. But will they be able to top the global hit earworm that was Let It Go?
