The Mission: Impossible series has always been earmarked by a change in director with each installment. However, with Fallout, Rouge Nation helmer Christopher McQuarrie returns to bring us a true sequel to that film. The trailer certainly strikes a similar gritty, no-nonsense tone while the action sequences look just as massive as ever. There even seems to be some intriguing material involving Ethan Hunt finally coming to terms with having been betrayed so many times by his superiors. While it’s doubtful that this will be the last Mission, it just might be the most intense. Tom Cruise returns along with Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Ving Rhames, while the villain will be played by Henry Cavill rocking his infamous mustache.
