BAFTAs 2011: And the winners are…

The British Academy of Film and Television honored the best in film for 2010. It comes as no surprise that The King’s Speech walked away with 7 awards, including Best Film. The only surprise of the night was The Social Network‘s David Fincher winning the Best Director award; many thought Tom Hooper (of King’s Speech) would take the directing trophy home that night. Also, the Harry Potter franchise with BAFTA’s Outstanding British Contribution To Cinema. JK Rowling and producer David Heyman each accepted an award for Harry Potter.
