After having made the world shake from it’s rapturous reception at 2017’s Sudance Film Festival, it would be easy to be caught up in the hype for director Luca Guadagnino’s latest film, Call Me By Your Name. A follow up to his under seen feature A Bigger Splash, it would seem that the filmmaker continues to be drawn to fraught love stories set in sun drenched, mythical beautiful settings. Starring Armie Hammer and up and comer Timothée Chalamet, the film will make it’s next bow at the Toronoto International Film Festival before hitting theaters to sweep everyone off their feet. And, on top of all of the numerous credits it already has going for it, it’s also being scored by Sufjan Stevens. Count this one as one or our most anticipated films of the year.
