Alex Pettyfer already met with Lionsgate for THG? Douglas Booth auditioning for Jace in TMI?

J-14 reports that Alex Pettyfer has already met with Lionsgate and The Hunger Games director, Gary Ross, and discussed about him portraying the part of Peeta Mellark. J-14 met up with Pettyfer while he was in Paramus, NJ promoting “I Am Number Four”. Alex said to J-14:

“I met with Lionsgate. I think Gary Ross is a great director,” Alex tells J-14. “I have [read the books]. I’m a very big fan. I just hope they can conquer the movie.”

Talking about The Mortal Instruments series….

Douglas Booth, for those of you who don’t know, is a British actor and apparently is Glee’s Naya Rivera’s rumoured boyfriend (Naya took Douglas as her date for the SAG Awards). He has also been featured in Burberry ads with Emma Watson and filmed the movie “LOL” with Miley Cyrus and Ashley Greene. Both Naya and Douglas tweeted that he was going to meet with Screen Gems for The Mortal Instruments movie adaptation. This is Douglas’ tweet:

As of now, no one knows who will be playing either Peeta or Jace. We at TYF, as YA novel fans that we are we want to know the cast for both movie franchises as soon as possible! And hopefully whoever Lionsgate or Screen Gems choose are good for their parts!
