DOOM recently released to incredible reviews. The lackluster multiplayer, however, drew some criticism. id Software took notice and has taken multiplayer back from the outsourced studio that helped shape it. Fans can look forward to future content updates featuring new tools for creating snapmaps, new construction modules, weapons, items, and logic options, allowing users to create true single player experiences.
There will be 2 new modes releasing next month: Exodus (one flag capture to flag) and Sector (capture and hold).
The first DLC for DOOM, Unto the Evil, will include 3 maps, a new demon, new gun, armor sets, taunts, and more.
For a limited time the first level from the single player campaign of DOOM will be free on all platforms for the remainder of the week.
