After a brief hiatus, we are pleased to be back with another episode of Directors of Cinema. If you are unfamiliar with this show, it is designed to highlight the careers of cinema’s most prominent directors. Each week host Matthew Goudreau and a guest discuss selected works of a director chosen by the guest.

On this episode, Matthew welcomes special guest Michael Graikoski to discuss the films of Quentin Tarantino. After busting onto the scene in 1992 with his debut film Reservoir Dogs, Tarantino became an instant name in the film community. It was the beginning of a very rapid rise to fame, culminating with his follow-up film Pulp Fiction winning the prestigious Palme d’Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. Was that truly the highpoint of Tarantino’s career or do Matt and Mike feel there are some other films as equally deserving of recognition? Well, you will have to listen to find out.
