Nick and Dara used to be inseparable, but their relationship becomes non-existent after Dara kisses Parker, Nick loses Parker as a best friend, and an accident occurs that leaves Dara’s beautiful face scarred. Having lost everything in an instant, Nick is determined to use the summer to gain it all back, but fate has other plans. When Dara disappears on her birthday Nick doesn’t take it seriously and thinks her sister is just messing around. But when nine-year-old Madeline Snow vanishes, Nick is convinced that the two disappearances are somehow connected. Nick is now in a race against time to find her sister before it’s too late.
The novel is slated to be released on March 10, 2015, which is the same day Oliver will kick off her Vanishing Girls Book Tour. In select locations, she will be joined by other YA authors such as Gayle Foreman (If I Stay) and Laini Taylor (Daughter of Smoke and Bone series). Here’s the full schedule:
