Bri is a 25-year-old born and raised in the swamps of Jersey. Just kidding, she lives at least twenty minutes from those swamps. She’s a publishing professional that moonlights as a writer. She enjoys going to concerts (anything from Rooney to Springsteen to NKOTBSB), roadtripping, and complaining that she truly belongs in the 1950’s, the 1920′s, or the 1980′s depending on her mood. She definitely owns more books than she should and reads every chance she gets. If you stop hearing from her, it’s because the book piles have fallen over and smothered her to death in the night. From the Record Crate: Bruce Springsteen – Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978)

With the release of Born to Run, Bruce Springsteen went from being a gravelly-voiced Jersey Boy wielding a guitar to a mainstream rock icon. Unfortunately, this level of success wasn’t quite the dream one would hope for. Springsteen had money…

Album Review: CHVRCHES – Love is Dead

You might be confused when you hear about a band that names Eurythmics, Death Cab for Cutie, Elliot Smith, and Cyndi Lauper as some of the inspirations for their sound, but CHVRCHES makes it work. Since the Scottish synth-pop trio…

Music Interview: Matthew Murphy of the Wombats

Known for their melodic, chaotic fusion of synth-pop and indie rock, English rock band the Wombats earned themselves a dedicated following with The Guide to Love, Loss, and Desperation, This Modern Glitch, and 2015’s Glitterbug. Their albums have sold over…

The Royals 4×10 Review: “With Mirth in Funeral and With Dirge in Marriage”
