What first attracted to me to Brian Selznick’s stories are the gorgeous illustrations that accompany them. It’s hard to move on from one drawing to the next because they’re so detailed that you don’t want to miss a single clue. “You either see it or you don’t” is the Marvels’ motto, and that’s very true of the book.
Book Review: ‘Another Day’ by David Levithan
When David Levithan announced that he was writing a companion to his novel, Every Day, I was a bit skeptical. Levithan is one of my favorite novels and has yet to write a book that I didn’t love, but I wasn’t sure what to expect by reading Rhiannon’s side of Every Day’s story.

‘Everybody Rise’ Giveaway: Win Stephanie Clifford’s New Book + Dior Make-up Set
One of my favorite books this summer is Stephanie Clifford’s debut novel, Everybody Rise. It’s a sharply written story about a twenty-something woman, who gets caught up in a world of ambition and privilege. To say she gets in way over her head is an understatement. It’s both a fun and deep read, and I am excited to share it with The Young Folks’ readers this week with a giveaway.
