Assassin’s Creed III is aiming to take some giant leaps forward in the action adventure genre. Some of the most innovative features that have been announced for AC3 are the new naval combat gameplay mechanics. These segments give players the opportunity to command their own vessel, sailing the vast and dynamically changing waters of the New World. It also gives players the ability to board, commandeer, and fight on enemy ships. It looks as though no Templar can hide from the assassin’s blade, not even on the high seas. Assassin’s Creed 3 looks to be the next big thing in open world action games, made ripe by the fresh setting of the American Revolution. It has all cannons ready and is poised to blow all of the previous AC installments out of the water. Look for it in stores on October 30th.
