If you’re fed up with winter just remind yourself that summer is just around the corner ( if you forget spring exists). Along with sunshine, this summer is going to bring back one of Netflix’s biggest hits. It’s time to save the date, because everyone’s favorite female prison drama is back. Orange Is The New Black will debut its second season on Netflix on June 6th . The streaming service will continue as it has done in the past with their other original shows by releasing all 13 episodes at the same time.
There have been a few changes regarding the cast line-up. Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause, has been downgraded from being a serious regular. According to her IMDB page, she’s only being credited with two episodes this season. Uzo Aduba, Taryn Manning and Danielle Brooks have been upgraded to regulars as of season two.
Netflix has also released a teaser clip to go along with the season 2 premiere date.
