Remember back in 2009 when director Neill Blomkamp surprised us all with ‘District 9’? I mean, come on…the story, the effects, the social message within the plot, everything was phenomenally well done and written. Well, good news people…he is back.
Below is the trailer for ‘ELYSIUM’, Blomkamp’s second motion picture and, believe me when I say…it looks good. It looks really good. Giving a quick scan to the trailer we can be sure to expect a lot of action and futuristic scenarios. This science-fiction film about a perfect and imperfect yet to come world stars Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and yes….Mr. Sharlto Copley. Blomkamp didn’t disappoint with ‘District 9’, and I’m sure he won’t do it with ‘Elysium’, not in the least. The film is set to open August 9, 2013 in the U.S.
