The highly anticipated trailer for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones has arrived, and winter is here.
The final season has been in production for what feels like forever and this trailer was the first taste that fans were in dire need of. Throughout the roughly two-minute trailer, we see all of our favorite characters that we’ve learned to love over the years (and yes, dragons too). Some are in a state of panic, some are preparing for battle, and some are questioning which side of the approaching final battle they will be on. Although the trailer doesn’t give too much away, getting to see quick glimpses of the massive battle sequences that the creators have been teasing fans with was well worth the wait. There are so many questions that fans are hoping will be answered in these final six episodes. Who will claim the Iron Throne? Will the Night King defeat all of our favorite characters? And will someone please explain to Jon and Daenerys how awkward that final scene of last season was? We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out!
