Review Ratings Explained

Starting June 2012, we have begun regularly adding star ratings to all of our reviews. We were hesitant on adding them because ratings can sometimes be very misleading or interpreted differently from what the reviewer intends them to mean. Therefore, we decided to define what our review ratings mean, in order for our readers to easily deduce how exceptional or horrible each movie, album, TV show, book, video game, concert we review is.

We use a 1 though 10 Stars Rating system. (Half stars () and the occasional zero rating can/will be used)

10 ★★★★★★★★★★ – Excellent; Best of the best

★★★★★★★★★– Near-Perfect; Almost flawless

★★★★★★★★– Great, but with some flaws

★★★★★★★– Entertaining, but with several flaws

★★★★★★– Enjoyable, but hard to overlook flaws

★★★★★– Average, but I liked it.

★★★★ – Okay; it had potential but didn’t follow through.

★★★ – Not good, but I didn’t hate it.

★★ – Bad. I didn’t like it. At all.

–  Terrible. I hate strongly disliked it. Not worth the time, money or effort!

0 – Why does this even exist?
