Jean-Claude Van Damme returns in ‘Kickboxer: Vengeance’ trailer

Kickboxer Vengeance Jean Claude van Damme

Wham Bam Van Damme is back people! Since doing “reboots” is sort of a thing nowadays, the Kickboxer franchise could not get left behind. Just a few days ago, the trailer for Kickboxer: Vengeance was released, where Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to his martial arts roots, but this time as a mentor.

Directed by John Stockwell (Blue Crush) and also starring Alain Moussi, Dave Bautista, Gina Carano, Georges St-Pierre and Darren Shahlavi, the film revisits the plot from the 1989  cult film, but this time there is a new Kurt Sloane (Moussi) in town who seeks revenge of his brothers death in a match against Muy Thai champion, Tong Po (Bautista). Much a-like Silverster Stallone in Creed,  Van Damme and Kickboxer: Vengeance promise to bring back some old and new “kicks”, all UFC fans will be very pleased!

Kickboxer: Vengeance hits theaters on August 19. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think!
