Casting “The Craft” Remake

Word spread like wildfire today with news that Sony plans on rebooting the 90’s cult classic “The Craft.” The horror film about a group of teenage girls with supernatural powers starred some of the biggest names in 90’s cinema. Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Skeet Ulrich, and Neve Campbell were all A-listers back in 1996, and since nostalgia is all the rage in 2015, it was only a matter of time before The Craft got remade.

Talented horror director Leigh Janiak is tapped to write and direct the reboot. Janiak’s first horror film, “Honeymoon,” debuted at SXSW in 2014 to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Having a female director could be just the thing this remake needs to outdo the original, but everyone knows a film is only as good as its cast. So I’m here to offer my opinion on what actors I think can bring these witches into the 21st century.
